This beginner class is perfect for kiddos that are interested in learning to sew! We go over how to thread a machine and build sewing skills. During this 2 session block we will create a pillow and tote bag.
In our hands-on sewing lessons, kids will learn to sew, create, and imagine — all while developing essential skills like patience, focus, and problem-solving.
All supplies and fabric are included in the course fee.
This class meets for 2 hours a session. Small class sizes for personalized attention.

Materials
Fabric, and patterns are provided for the children and are included in the cost. Kids are welcome to bring their own sewing supplies (i.e. pincushion, pins, etc.), but they will be responsible for them. If they lose their supplies, they will not be replaced.
Skills
Students will set up their own machines during class; this will ensure that they understand how to thread a machine. Once children are over the age of 8, they are allowed to iron in class; if you do not want your child ironing please be sure to let the teacher know. We use our machines for this class.
There are no makeups or credits for missed classes. The payment is nonrefundable.
