Create a Stuffie Camp: Art & Sewing Summer Camp
Week 4: a fun and imaginative camp where kids explore the world of design, sewing, and stuffed animal creation! This week-long camp is perfect for young artists and aspiring designers who love animals, crafting, and working with their hands.
Camp Highlights:
Design Your Own Stuffie – Kids will sketch and plan their own unique animal plushie, choosing colors, fabrics, and features.
Fabric & Color Exploration – Campers will learn about different textiles, patterns, and how to bring their vision to life with creative fabric choices.
Sewing Basics – A hands-on introduction to hand-sewing and beginner-friendly machine stitching, ensuring a fun and safe crafting experience.
Customization & Personality – Campers will add final touches like embroidery, felt details, button eyes, and even accessories to make their stuffies one of a kind.
Storytime & Imagination – Kids will create backstories for their stuffed animals and present them in a fun mini-showcase at the end of the week.
Ages: 7+ with age-appropriate sewing techniques and supervision.
By the end of the camp, each child will take home a completely handmade stuffed animal, designed and stitched with love!
